What gene causes eye color to change in a short period of time and change back and how does it become mutated?

My eyes seem to change color with my mood and how I feel physically. For ex when I grow tempered my eyes turn grey but when I'm sad they turn almost clear blue. My friend on the other hand has green eyes that change to blue and grey.
