My breathing is wierd, is it Acid Reflux?

So about 2 or 3 months ago i stayed up till about 3 or 4 a.m. I was putting olive oil in my hair and about that time it was in for 5 hours. Then i started to notice my breathing was different. I really can't explain it but i feels like my body wants to take short breath. So when my body takes short breathes i get scared and breathe for myself. Also at times my heart starts to pound but that could be because i get scared. I went to the doctor and he gave me Nexium and i have been taking it for about a week and a half and it started to make the breathing problem go away, but i forgot to take the pill for 2 days and its come back. The wierd thing is that when i don't think about the breathing problem and do stuff it feels as if i don't have one, but the second i start thinking about it, it comes back. The worst times are at night and that's when my heart pounds. Also at times i get really scared and goto the e.r and then it goes away right when i walk in. That's why the doctors think nothings wrong with me because it goes away once i walk into the building. Also once i started taking the nexium pills i don't swallow them i open the capsule and pour the pellets in my mouth and swallow them, i just can't swallow pills! After taking the pills about 3 days late my legs and arm started to feel numb for a day. Like there was not enough blood pumping in them. After that went away i started to have major back pain on my left upper side. It hurts so much that i can barely walk or sit. That goes away and comes back. The breathing problems kind of feel as if i have a very stuffy nose but i don't. Before this all happened i did have bad heartburn, especially at night. I just haven't been diagnosed with Acid Reflux or anything because i never really goto the doctor. When the breathing problems occur i sometimes feel like i need to burp but i can't and when i do burp it feels better, but only for a second. I really don't know what's wrong with me, im only 15 and i don't want to live a life worried about my breathing all the time. At times i feel like i'm going to die and i start to get sad and feel like that day is going to be my last. I go back to the doctor this week, but i'm scared he just going to say "your fine" and send me off. I don't feel fine and the doctor's can't see it. The last time i went which was a week ago he did a x-ray of my lungs and said everything was good and took blood. He still hasn't got back to me on my blood test but hopefully he'll find something wrong with me because i want this to be gone. Please respond and tell me what you think could be wrong with me. I'm thinking maybe Acid Reflux, GERD, Heart disease, Diabetes ( i do eat alott of sweets). I just want some answers. Thanks

I know they (internet) say that 100-125 is around the normal hair loss rate per day. But when flush my hands through my hair for a good minute or so in the bathroom I see about 100 strands of hair, maybe a little less. When I get sad (hope shattered) I can actually feel my heart sink down into my chest. Why is that this reaction happens after dealing with something sad? Most acne at this age is caused by hormones, and there's nothing you can really do about it. The picture doesn't look all that bad to me. Depression, really...?

As much as you really can't be ****** with it, talk to people. I don't mean counseling or anything. Just random chatting and such with friends (if you have any left from being a boring depressed person - if not, get some new ones). I think I have some sort of trust issue, or some sort of anxiety, but I have issues tlaking to people about personal things. When I got my first period, I couldn't tell my mom. Cloudy urine from my 4yr old- help!?

For 3 weeks now, my four year old son has been excreting very cloudy urine. Towards the end of his urination he has a white 'cloudy' discharge which sometimes causes him some pain. At the end of the 2010-2011 school year, I was being constantly harassed verbally and sexually by this one boy at lunch. So about 2 or 3 months ago i stayed up till about 3 or 4 a.m. I was putting olive oil in my hair and about that time it was in for 5 hours. Then i started to notice my breathing was different. I really can't explain it but i feels like my body wants to take short breath. So when my body takes short breathes i get scared and breathe for myself. Also at times my heart starts to pound but that could be because i get scared. I went to the doctor and he gave me Nexium and i have been taking it for about a week and a half and it started to make the breathing problem go away, but i forgot to take the pill for 2 days and its come back. The wierd thing is that when i don't think about the breathing problem and do stuff it feels as if i don't have one, but the second i start thinking about it, it comes back. The worst times are at night and that's when my heart pounds. Also at times i get really scared and goto the e.r and then it goes away right when i walk in. That's why the doctors think nothings wrong with me because it goes away once i walk into the building. Also once i started taking the nexium pills i don't swallow them i open the capsule and pour the pellets in my mouth and swallow them, i just can't swallow pills! After taking the pills about 3 days late my legs and arm started to feel numb for a day. Like there was not enough blood pumping in them. After that went away i started to have major back pain on my left upper side. It hurts so much that i can barely walk or sit. That goes away and comes back. The breathing problems kind of feel as if i have a very stuffy nose but i don't. Before this all happened i did have bad heartburn, especially at night. I just haven't been diagnosed with Acid Reflux or anything because i never really goto the doctor. When the breathing problems occur i sometimes feel like i need to burp but i can't and when i do burp it feels better, but only for a second. I really don't know what's wrong with me, im only 15 and i don't want to live a life worried about my breathing all the time. At times i feel like i'm going to die and i start to get sad and feel like that day is going to be my last. I go back to the doctor this week, but i'm scared he just going to say "your fine" and send me off. I don't feel fine and the doctor's can't see it. The last time i went which was a week ago he did a x-ray of my lungs and said everything was good and took blood. First time feeling depressive and hopeless?

It all started out on Sunday night. I'm 14. Please trust me when I say that this is the worst feeling I've ever had in my whole life. I've been usually content with life, a pessimist but easily made happy. Anyways, I had been watching the series 24 for about 4 hours straight. In a scene where the patients were forced to kill themselves, I went into a bit of a shock. I stopped immediately. I started to break down crying and feeling really scared, a deep thought of suicide and killing myself. I felt I had a duty to, not that I wanted to. I woke my sister and cried all night, we talked about it until the morning, and I felt better. The next day, I told my whole family, they talked me throughout, making me feel loved, the thoughts had resided slightly yet later that night, I broke out crying to my mother, feeling depressed throughout the whole day. I felt very guilty suddenly, wanting to shout out all my sins, and yet I surprisingly controlled myself. This deep feeling in my chest won't go away. The thoughts of suicide have subsided. I don't know why it's still there, I have a lot of good friends, I go out a few times each week with them, I go to church twice a week, my family loves me, I don't seem to have anybody hate me at all. It's like I have to be constantly doing something to forget. The reason that depresses me most is: "This is all life really is, nothing more. Same old." I can control myself physically, but not mentally. Hello, I am 17 and overweight. So many people (older adults) tell me that I am beautiful but I don't believe it because I have been told that I am fat and ugly and would never get a boyfriend/husband. How do I believe that I am beautiful? Do you think that losing weight will help? I hate looking in the mirror or photos and not being happy with the way I like.

Are older girl and younger guy relationships ok?

I am wondering if they are because I am interested in girls older than I am (I'm almost 15) and I'm not even sure what it is. Older girls (around one and a half years older or a little more) seem more mature, have their heads on straighter (figuratively speaking), they're more like actual women (and not like little girls), they are more physically and emotionally developed, and a lot of other things, whereas younger girls (lets say, anywhere from 11 to my age) don't appeal to me at all. How can I reduce the size of my breasts?

My breasts are not proportional to my body at all. I'm 5'4", 120 lbs, and have 34 DD breasts. I'm 17 and my breast have been growing since I've been 8 years old. I just started taking birth control and I think the hormones made my breasts get slightly bigger now. It's extremely uncomfortable physically and especially emotionally, and I have no idea what to do. I heard cardio workouts can help you lose fat all over, including in the breasts, but I worry since I'm not overweight if it'd even work. I've heard of herbal pills that can reduce the size of your breasts, but that's probably just some more hormonal pills that might mess with something else on my body. I've really been considering breast reduction surgery when I turn 18 but I have awhile till then and I'd like to try some alternatives before then. Maybe you could mention what she loves about her husband to make her leaving him seem more upsetting, because right now, I don't feel her pain as she leaves. Why do i have mood swings sometimes?

Though I didn't know it at the time, I would say the first sign(s) of my mental issues were in 11th grade, I was very annoying and sometimes I was hyper and it was like I couldn't sit still (but I don't think I had/have add/adhd as I could focus really good in school), and sometimes I would cause myself pain by hitting my arm against lockers (which was in a way that it was annoying to many), and I would also sit in a way that one side of my chest was on the desk; and it hurt but I loved it. Then in 12th grade I had become depressed and for a while I just couldn't be happy; this is when I started cutting myself. after a while in addition to the depression, anxiety, and cutting I had mood swings from depressed to manic; or at least I think they were manic spells, usually I would have a lot energy and want to do so much anywhere from for a few minutes to a few days, and eventually id go back to depressed and would struggle to get out of bed (I think I may be bipolar sometimes, but ive been getting help and Idk what my diagnosis is). I also wouldn't hesitate to get physically when middle school kids when I was in high school (they used the same busses). I think I still have some degree of mood swings, though I feel stable now. So why do I have mood swings?

I just can't see myself being attracted to a woman over 50 years old. Even over 40 is tough. I hope that will change as I get older, but I can't picture it.

Honestly I dont support the use of multivitamins all the vitamins you need are in healthy foods you can eat. Vitamin tables have alot of other ingredients that dont benefit your ( like the stuff they use to keep the tablet together) and you dont know how it is affecting your body. Dont trace how much of this you have and how much of that just maintain a healthy lifestyle and as far as your bones go drink milk preferably free ranged/ natural.

I don't want to start a large scale debate because what I have noticed is debates quickly turn into arguments and usually someone ends up getting hurt physically or emotionally. So anyways I'm supporting it because for one thing I don't understand why the government needs to be so involved in people's personal lives. depends, if it was a service to you, like, a friend fixing a small thing on your car, then sure by all means pay them! but if it was like, i dont know, picking up something you dropped, why give them money? to be honest, these days i rarely ever hear a "thank you" so, when i do hear a "thank you" it makes me feel like they mean it.

Your parent is only going to get into trouble if you press charges or something and the statute of limitations is about up on that anyway. The therapist will not get your mother into trouble; but, I think it is necessary for you to share all information with the therapist for them to be able to best help you with your 'issues'. Most of your problems don't appear to be your problem but your mothers; however, you state that you have issues because of her actions. You are afraid of what other's actions may be in response to something they may not agree with if you disagree. I have been there if I didn't go along with whatever my mother wanted she would choke me or cover my mouth and nose and smother me when I was a kid. She's passed on now but she never changed she always insulted me degraded humiliated belittled me criticized when I had children she would assault and attack them also when we visited which wasn't often. You aren't a coward for thinking someone may attack you it happens and you don't have to find out if they are going to attack you the hard way meaning after it has happened. I have a really low self esteem and i need help!?

I'm a 16 year old teen who has a boy friend of a year and a half, When i was younger i was malested from the 2nd grade to the 6th then raped till the 7th when my mom walked in on him after work. I love my boyfriend dearly and i know that he loves me, he always trys to comfort me and help me with my problems. he's my back bone, best friend and i pray someday my soul mate. My only problem is i have really bad insecurities, and no one understands why /: I don't see what people see when they look at me. i see so many flaws that others don't and i tear myself down. We can walk down the street and every guy is staring we get things thrown at us (twice) and we get honks. Has your child fought back physical attacks or embarrassment by an abusive teacher or aide ?

Some time ago my grade school son was accused of striking a teacher , meeting with the school staff to avoid suspension my son had a psychologist recommended by the school to find out what's wrong (he did not display this behavior at home) long story short the teacher reporting this bad behavior was physically abusing my son by kicking him in the back , on one occasion he fought back in the same manner which prompted the teacher to use the system to punish him. At the school meeting prior to the school recommended psychologist sessions, the teacher who did this revealed herself and her level of rage by acting very defensive to the embarrassment of the school board members. After this incident I lost all faith and trust in school staff , I felt they knowingly lied about the situation. The details not mentioned by this teacher with other children as victims and witnesses came out in a full report to the school. My son is almost thirty now , but I'll never forget that lying teacher . From what I've seen and heard across the country and the corruption going on with school officials and the wasting of funds they deserve to lose their collective bargaining rights. Please post your experiences with out of control school staff , and always question school authorities for the facts. If your kid's school calls you and says your kid hit a teacher and the police were not called something is already wrong.
