Do topics from a specimen paper still come up on the exam?

In my experience, those topics come up only sometimes (very selectively). Specimen papers give you a general idea of what to expect and a basic idea of possible questions. The actual questions on the exam (based on the subject, of course) tend to vary quite a bit.
