My kitten is sick! Help me!?

He hasn't been as playful the last two days, and now, he just had some kinda spasm and threw up this NASTy organ-like specimen it is SO gross. Then ate it. What was it? It really looked like something thst should be attatched inside his bbody. What is wrong? What do I do!? its a boy about 6 months old
