Reasonably paid, easy-to-get, long-lasting jobs?

Looking for jobs that are, like I said before, reasonably paid, easy to get, and usually long lasting, besides anything that involves teaching or something that is far too physically or mentally demanding, like a rugby pro or a computer software designer person... I don't really know what they're called... so nothing that involves tackling people or racking your brain 24/7... and preferably long-lasting, as in, it's not likely you'll get laid off a week after you start working. It's a bit of a finicky choice, but are there any jobs like that? Like a novelist or a writer or something like that? Thank-you in advance! And serious answers only, please.
